Proactive Technology Assessments

It's a structured evaluation of your entire IT environment — infrastructure, security, and performance — carried out before problems occur rather than after. The goal is to identify weaknesses, inefficiencies, and risks early, so they can be fixed on your schedule instead of during an emergency. 

It examines your servers, workstations, network equipment, cloud services, and software — checking their age, condition, configuration, and capacity. The review identifies what's working well, what's nearing end-of-life, and where improvements would have the most impact. 

Common findings include aging hardware approaching failure, missing security patches, inadequate or untested backups, unused software licenses, network bottlenecks, and systems that no longer fit how the business operates. 

Annually is a common baseline, with additional assessments after major changes — rapid growth, an office move, a merger, new compliance requirements, or adopting significant new systems. 

The findings become an action plan. Implementation can be handled internally, by SkyView, or a mix of both — with ongoing support and guidance available to put the recommended strategies in place and keep them maintained over time.
